Lee Marvin is a familiar face in Edinburgh with residencies spanning over 15 years. His current collaboration ‘Main Ingredient’ being the most successful to date seeing the trio regularly playing in Europe, England and of course up and down Scotland, as well as becoming a favourite on the festival scene. As an individual DJ Lee is kept busy playing at the likes of Hanover 99, Paradise Palms, Cafe Voltaire & Bar Soba to name a few.
Based in Edinburgh where he runs the monthly night Riviera Paraiso and where he is curator at Paradise Vinyl. Andrea Montalto hails from the southern corner of Europe, Catania in Sicily. His love for his motherland is shown by his deep reverence towards Neapolitan Jazz-Funk and his passion for Sicilian almond milk. Andrea’s sets shift from jazzy-Latin atmospheres to Disco and Boogie, 80s Jazz-funk, Italo, House, world dance music, 80s Mediterranean gems. He has shared decks with Sadar Bahar, Maseo (De La Soul), Young Marco, Stump Valley and more.
Edinburgh based Kate hosts the Sound Remedies show on EH-FM, and has guested on Rinse FM, NTS and Berlin Community Radio and made mixes for Ransom Note and Eclectics. Kate has a diverse record collection and has shared the decks with friends at cool spots around the globe including Paloma, Mobel Ölfe, Sneaky Pete’s and Maceo’s. Expect lots of Boogie, 80s disco, some hip hop and a few surprises.
Gav is known for his involvement with the capital’s leading Sunday night party, The Syndicate. When it comes to djing, his versatile music taste stands out across his sets, playing everything from Hip Hop up through the tempos to Disco and House. Gav has also warmed up for some of the heavy weights in the music industry including Bicep, Marshall Jefferson, Alfredo, Grandmaster Flash, Denis Sulta and Nightmares on Wax to name but a few.
A record collector by nature, Gareth Sommerville’s varied taste has seen him hold residencies at many of Edinburgh’s most influential parties, clubs and bars. At Eastside he’ll be soundtracking your night with disco and house.
Resident at Hoochie Coochie in Newcastle and regular at Southport Weekender and Suncebeat, Craig has remixed the likes of Hercules and Love, Roy Ayers and Moloko, his latest project Sound Signals has picked up regular plays from Craig Charles on Six Music. His sets at Eastside will incorporate disco, house and hip hop.
